CREATING A CLIENT SERVICE PLAN
The core of NCTP’s products and services is the application of OKR methodology to create a client services plan. The plan is similar to a treatment plan a physician might provide to a patient. When a patient comes in, the doctor evaluates the patient to determine what medical issues are present, then creates a plan to address the immediate symptoms, then develops ongoing methods improve the patient’s long term health. NCTP applies a similar method to its clients to set objectives and identify the key results desired by the business or nonprofit.
STAGE 1 - Evaluating The Patient
A potential client requests a business health evaluation that has a cost beginning at $1,000. NCTP staff then assess the company’s financial standing, business objectives, vision, and values. After the assessment, NCTP provides a summary of findings that indicates what key operational gaps need to be addressed to support the success of the client. NCTP also provides an assessment of compatibility which lets the client know whether NCTP and the client are compatible moving forward.
STAGE 2 - Creating A Treatment Plan
Once evaluated, if NCTP and the client choose to move forward together, NCTP will create a plan to fill the gaps that were identified during the evaluation stage. NCTP will joyfully offer consulting and financial services to the client, up to and including acting as the client’s chief financial officer. For any stop-gap items that need to be outsourced to other experts such as IT professionals, NCTP will connect the client with vetted providers whose culture and expertise can help the client obtain the key results they are working toward.
STAGE 3 - Continuous Monitoring and Plan Updates
Progress toward objectives and key results are tracked using specialized software, NCTP staff expertise, and input from client stakeholders. NCTP and the client work together to ensure the client service plan is followed and adjusted as necessary using measurable data to evaluate results. The client service plan is updated as needed as new operational challenges or key objectives are identified in order to ensure the client’s ongoing success.

NCTP will prepare tax returns and other related documents for clients that need assistance in this area. A properly-certified NCTP staff member will provide audit, review, compilation and pre-audit support to our client organizations to ensure they are on strong fiscal footing in the tax arena. Dealing with the day-to-day tasks of a business should be the core of what a leader does, but simple operational tasks can often distract from the day-to-day work that needs to be done to meet an organization’s core objectives. NCTP can provide operational support by acting as an organization’s COO to establish policies, procedures, and operational goals based upon the client services plan NCTP developed during the NCTP’s initial assessment of the client’s needs. A NCTP staff member with expertise in business development will work with leaders in the organization to develop best practices for success using modern business practices that are proven to lead to success.

Those clients not needing NCTP’s support in the role of a COO, CFO or both often still need assistance in identifying the challenges and goals their organizations face. For these clients, NCTP staff will use advanced techniques to analyze the client’s current organizational health and help the client identify objectives and key results, commonly known as OKR. OKR methodology tracks an organization’s strengths and shortcomings and develops strategies to correct shortcomings and continue to build on organizational strengths. Once applied, these strategies help our clients meet or exceed their goals.
